Position Overview: As a Drug & Alcohol Technician II, you will take on an elevated role with increased responsibilities, catering to the nuanced requirements of drug and alcohol testing procedures. This position is tailored for individuals who have already obtained certification and possess comprehensive experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

1. Advanced Testing Procedures: Execute advanced drug and alcohol testing procedures, demonstrating a deep understanding of testing protocols and methodologies.

2. Supervision and Training: Provide guidance and training to Drug & Alcohol Technician I staff, ensuring adherence to industry standards and maintaining a high level of accuracy.

3. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews of testing procedures and results to ensure quality assurance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.

4. Client Consultation: Engage with clients at a more advanced level, offering insights and recommendations based on expertise in drug and alcohol testing processes.

5. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes and updates, ensuring that testing procedures are consistently in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

6. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of testing equipment, troubleshooting issues and coordinating repairs as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Drug & Alcohol Technician.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in drug and alcohol testing.

• Proven expertise in advanced testing methodologies and protocols.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Leadership abilities and the capacity to provide guidance and training to junior staff.
